Hello! My name is Kait Taylor Morton and I recently received my undergraduate degree in Graphic Design and Art History at the University of Maryland (UMD). From June 2015–August 2015, I was a graphics and exhibition design intern at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History where I had the opportunity to work with another exhibition design intern to launch the grand opening campaign of the museum's newest innovation themed wing, design print and digital ads for multiple sites and publications, and create graphics for numerous future exhibitions. In September 2015, I was awarded a stipend from the Smithsonian to continue my internship in order to design the graphics for the museum's annual History Film Forum.
Aside from museum work, I have particular interest in sustainability and wildlife conservation so I am always looking for ways to incorporate these concerns into my designs. Aside from designing, I enjoy having conversations with my ragdoll cat, reading, cooking, aquascaping and gardening. I am currently looking for junior graphic design work. Feel free to contact me at the e-mail address below.
