Jessica Hische's Daily Drop Cap project served as the project inspiration for my series of drop cap letters. I chose to design them in my own illustrative style but was also challenged to create ligatures and mimic designers like William Morris and P. Scott Makela.
Media used includes Faber Castell pens, Prisma Color markers, white gel pen, wall paint, pencils, glue, and vellum.
Composed and cleaned in Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Illustrator CS6.
